Second Notice

Summary​

The "Second Notice" page is designed for generating and printing reminder letters for tax payers who have not yet made their payments. The page is divided into two main sections: the filter section, which allows users to specify the criteria, such as the municipality and the billing to generate the letters for, and the report section, which displays the generated PDF.

Filter Section​

The filter section is where the user can decide what specific bills they want to print the second notices for. This page will only ever generate the letter for the bill if it has not been paid already, but the user can select the municipality, the billing, and even attach a comment to each notice.

Two unique fields are present in the filter section:

  • "Starting Control No #:" allows users to define the starting control number for the letters. This feature is useful in case of printing errors, preventing the need to reprint the entire batch and avoiding duplicate letters. Typically, this field requires no modification.

  • "Notices to Print" enables users to define the quantity of letters to be printed.

Adjust Address Positioning​

The sliders at the bottom of the filter section adjust the position of the address on the letter. Users can move the address up/down and left/right by up to 1/2 inch.

The Letter​

Each letter will be different depending on the preferred format of the county/township/school.
